Hotels
Hotel prices vary greatly in Moscow: from $40 per night Soviet-style rooms to luxurious accommodation in the heart of Moscow. Booking beforehand, following weekend or low-season rates will help you save more.
The city center hotels are mostly luxury and expensive ones, such as Ritz Carlton, National, Metropol, Marriotts and others, offering you wonderful views on the Kremlin, the Red Square and Tverskaya Street. The prices can become very high, especially in the peak season, partly due to the very dense schedule of trade exhibitions and other business activities.
Moscow has more affordable accommodation options as well. The city has plenty of 3-star hotels, some of them are located in the city center. Home Hotel in Kamergerskiy lane, the Hotel on Petrovka, or Bulvar Hotel are good choices for non-expensive accommodation. Ibis Paveletskaya hotel is a new 3-star hotel which offers a central location within a walking distance from the Paveletskaya train station.
