Summer in Russia is the low season for local film distributors. Summer in America is the season of thunderous blockbusters. These are the indisputable truths. Outdoor cinema festival Summer Times is a small alternative to these truths that are not quite so indisputable: every week the organizers are going to show a new original movie, unrelated to the Hollywood's conveyor, but having every right to be seen not only by the authors themselves and their families. 11 piece-works from all over the world about the youth, monsters, love, violence and music.

Viewers will see the bright and interesting short film works from around the world - Japan, Canada, Australia, Spain, Sweden and other countries. One of the invited selectors is a curator of the program of short films at Berlin Film Festival, Mike Mia Henne. She will present two programs specially prepared for the Moscow shows, and talk about their approach to programming and about short films today.
