The first Russian speedway will open in Volokolamsk near Moscow on 15 July. The speedway was constructed by German Tilke who had projected the most of 'Formula-1' speedways.
The official opening ceremony of the first Russian race track 'Moscow Raceway' will be held on 15 July, but the sporting events will begin on 14 July.
The director of FIA racing assessed level of preparedness of the track as 99.9%. Thus, the route will be assigned to the category of FIA 1T and FIM A, which would enable the holding of competitions at any level up to Grand Prix, "Formula-1" and the Superbike World Championship.
