Kaiser Chiefs in Moscow - 10 July, Stadium Live.
The success story of the Kaiser Chiefs started in Moscow. In 2004, only having a single "Oh My God", Kaiser Chiefs performed at the local festival dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Fender Stratocaster guitar. The British press made a huge pother about that performance. The first album of Kaiser Chiefs "Employment", including such hits as "Every Day I Love You Less And Less", "Ruby" and "I Predict A Riot", has earned three British top music awards - Brit Awards. The "Employment" was also included in the shortlist of Mercury Prize and was awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello award, which is awarded to the best British songwriters. The song "Oh My God" became a bestseller gem of Mark Ronson's "Version" - for this album it was recorded with Lily Allen.
The combination of the destructive power of punk rock and romanticism of the "new wave" is the signature of Kaiser Chiefs. In their albums The Clash meet Duran Duran, therefore, Kaiser Chiefs are loved by both boys and girls.
Today the Kaiser Chiefs have four studio albums in their arsenal. The fourth, "The Future Is Medeival", was released in 2011 and was presented to the public to revolutionize the way: the group had posted 20 songs on their website and the listeners were offered to to create a playlist of ten songs, in fact, to create their own personal album of Kaiser Chiefs. The album "Start The Revolution Without Me", which is supported by Kaiser Chiefs in tour of 2012, is an American version of the album "The Future Is Medeival" with additions and improvements. In support of the new album the band released the single \ On The Run \, produced by Stephen Street, who had previously worked with The Smiths and Blur, as well as with Kaiser Chiefs - on albums \ Employment \ and \ Yours Truly, Angry Mob \. With the new material the band returned to Moscow.
