'16 Tons' 28 July 2012, 23:55: music of Harald Bjork - a simple, yet emotional form of minimal techno with melancholy inclusions of Scandinavian ethnic melodies.
Music of Harald Bjork is a simple, yet emotional form of minimal techno with melancholy inclusions of Scandinavian ethnic melodies. Clear rhythmic foundation of his compositions emphasizes the extraordinarily beautiful sketches and gradually loosens the space.
No wonder many call him one of the best "electronic" producers of our time - every single sound is executed perfectly, the sound has a full range of different shades, at the output you can simply enjoy the beautiful music and dance.
Having released a number of his early recordings on small Scandinavian labels like TraumSchallplatten, ApparilloMusici DeepFocus, Gerald took quite a bold decision to release on his own label Kranglan Broadcast. In 2009 the first his release was the LP "Bigfield", which eventually was re-released on the label BorderCommunity, of well-known tehno-diva KateWax. The latest release of the artist - 'Estelle EP' - was also released in Kranglan Broadcast and reissued by a larger Swedish distributor Hybris, along with a couple remixes of Swedish pop bands AzureBlue and Gros.
