7th International Open Moscow Book Festival

The main intellectual open-air og the city traditionally gathers everyone to visit the festival of literary life in the courtyard of the Central house of artists. The Book Festival is the story of a good, lively literature, clearly reflecting all the changes and phenomena of contemporary society. Here you can talk to top officials of the cultural community, meet new names and rethink the familiar ones, experience the aesthetic insight and expand thought processes.

Transcultural focus of the event is aimed at familiarizing the culture of reading and fits in a multimedia format of the festival. The program has traditionally represented the six directions - books, movies, music, exhibitions, children, sports.

As part of the forthcoming forum over 150 events - presentations, discussion meetings and round tables, devoted to the modern literary process, will be held. People of different views and beliefs are invited as participants. More than 300 writers, editors, culture experts, critics and journalists will meet readers to focus on the urgent issues, to discuss the present and the future of literature in the modern media reality and to talk about who will be at the forefront of the latest cultural trends.
